DCSO Deputies Make Theft Arrests

Douglas County, NV - On April 26, 2024, DCSO Deputies responded to Boot Barn, 935 Topsy Lane, Carson City, Nevada, for a theft in progress. Douglas County Dispatch broadcasted the description of three suspects fleeing the location in a white Chevrolet SUV. Deputies were in the area and made an enforcement stop on the suspect’s motor vehicle. DCSO Deputies detained Azura Ridley, Jose Trujillo-Gutierrez, and Sol Garcia-Hernandez for suspicion of theft.  

During their investigation, DCSO Deputies determined Ridley, Trujillo-Gutierrez, and Garcia-Hernandez worked together to steal numerous items from inside Boot Barn and ran out of the store. Deputies recovered more than $500 in merchandise stolen from Boot Barn and approximately $1,000 in cosmetics that was unreported from other Topsy Lane stores. Ridley, Trujillo-Gutierrez, and Garcia-Hernandez were booked into the Douglas County Jail for Theft less than $1,200 and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.
