Jail Visitation and Calls DCSOInmates incarcerated in the Douglas County Jail may have visits starting 7 days after their incarceration date. All visits are non-contact and run by appointment only.

Visits are only scheduled for 20 minute blocks. 

Please familiarize yourself with the visitation rules prior to your visit.  

 


Visitation Rules:

  • Visitors must be 18 years or older and have a valid form of photo identification with them.
  • Proper attire must be worn. No gang attire, no hats, no clothing or accessories that display any of the following: obscene or offensive language, graphic pictures, sheer or transparent garments, tank tops, spaghetti strap, strapless tops, exposing of the breast/chest, genital area, buttocks, or reveals underwear.

Securus Technologies Video Visitation:

Effective December 2020, video visitation to inmates will be provided by Securus Technologies at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office jail. This new program utilizes remote video access. 

To schedule a video visit:

1. Go to www.securustech.net or use the Securus Mobile App.

First-time users will be directed to complete online registration. Visits cannot be scheduled without completing the registration process. 

2. After completing a Securus account, choose "video visitation" option to complete account setup. 

3. Click "schedule visit" and find "Douglas County" under the Nevada state option. 

4. Search for the inmate using full name (first and last) or inmate ID number.

5. Select an available date and time.

6. Click "finish".

7. A confirmation email will be sent containing a personal identification number (PIN). The PIN is required to join the visitation session.

8. Remote visits are currently &7.60 (plus applicable taxes) for a 20-minute session.
