For retired law enforcement personnel to carry concealed weapons as allowed by Federal Law.
Required items for initial application request.
Letter from former agency stating that the applicant has separated from service in good standing from service with a public agency as a law enforcement officer, a law enforcement member of the executive branch of the federal government, Amtrak, or federal reserve police or retirement badge stating LEOSA eligibility. The application must be submitted in person at 1038 Buckeye Rd, Minden, NV. For questions call 775-782-9933.
Before such separation, was authorized by law to engage in or supervise the prevention, detection, investigation, or prosecution of, or the incarceration of any person for, any violation of law and has statutory powers of arrest.
