DCSO Looking for Evidence Linked to Catalytic Converter Thefts

Minden, NV- On June 23, the Mammoth Lakes Police Department attempted to stop a Silver Acura MDX which was suspected of committing catalytic converters thefts.  The vehicle fled and a pursuit ensued.  At the end of the pursuit, Jean Anthony Henderson-Hamilton, a 37-year-old male from Sparks, Nevada, and Deanna Kaye Douglas, a 49-year-old female from Fallon, Nevada were arrested.  Henderson-Hamilton and Douglas had a number of stolen catalytic converters in their vehicle.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has determined that this same Silver Acura MDX was definitely in the Gardnerville area on the same nights in April and May when four catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles locally. DCSO is working to develop more evidence to positively link Henderson-Hamilton and Douglas with the catalytic converter thefts here in Douglas County. After exhausting all leads, DCSO is asking the public for help in looking for more evidence of the thefts that happened in the Gardnerville area. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the DCSO Investigations Division at 775-782-9905
