The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance locating a male suspected of shoplifting items from a local Walmart. On September 26, 2023, at about 4:27 p.m., the unknown male suspect was captured on surveillance video entering the garden center area of the Topsy Lane Walmart with a shopping cart full of items. The suspect placed some of the items outside the fence of the garden center area and later returned to the outside parking lot to retrieve the items. The identification of the male is unknown at this time, and all investigative leads have been exhausted.
