MINDEN, Nev.––On Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, at approximately 1:45 p.m., a male and female entered a residence located on Bavarian Drive, in Carson City, Nevada. The homeowners were not present at the time in which the intruders entered the home. The homeowners and other tenants on the property did not recognize the male and female who entered the home. The subjects stayed inside the residence for approximately one and a half hours. It does not appear anything was stolen from the home; however, interior surveillance video shows the male yelling for people to come out, and if they didn’t, they would be killed.
The male is described as being in his late 30s with brown hair and a full beard, wearing tan cargo shorts, a gray button-up shirt, and tennis shoes. The female is described as being in her late 40s or early 50s with light brown hair and glasses, wearing blue jean shorts and a black, purple, and orange tie-dye T-shirt. The female had longer hair and wore it in a bun. The male may have referred to the female as “Michelle” or “Rachelle.”
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying one or both of the above-described subjects.
