MINDEN, Nev. (July 3, 2026) — The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is assisting the Nevada State Police with a fatal traffic collision in the area of State Route 208 and Sleeping Elephant Ranch.

Temporary road closures are in effect, and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while emergency personnel remain on scene.
