Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Responds to Report at Carson Valley Middle School – No Threat Found
MINDEN, Nev. – This morning, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible active shooter at Carson Valley Middle School, located at 1477 U.S. Hwy 395 N, in Gardnerville, Nevada. Deputies immediately responded and conducted a thorough investigation.
It was determined there were no threats, no shooters, and no evidence of any such activity.
All students and staff are safe and secure.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the cooperation of school staff and students as deputies worked to ensure everyone’s safety.
