Commissary
Money can be put on an inmate's account Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Jail Administration office.
It is required to show a form of identification when placing money onto an inmate's account.
To put money on an inmate's account, you can use credit card, debit card, cash and money orders. No personal checks are accepted. We no longer accept Credit Card/Debit Cards over the phone.
The above forms of payment are accepted in person and via mail. There is no way to accept money for commissary online.

How Inmate Accounts Work
Inmates may use funds in their accounts to purchase hygiene items, writing supplies, and snacks through the commissary.
Commissary purchases are made on Thursday mornings. If a holiday falls on a Thursday, commissary will be held on Wednesday instead. In that case, funds must be deposited into the inmate's account by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday to be available for purchases.
Family members, friends, and other individuals may deposit money into an inmate's account. For regular Thursday commissary orders, deposits must be made by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Point-of-Sale Transaction Fees Are Assessed for Credit Card, Debit Card & ACH Payments in all channels where we accept payments
> Transaction fee of up to 2.50% with a $2.00 minimum on
Credit Card Payments.
>Transaction fee of 1.5% with a $2.00 minimum on Debit Card payments.
>Flat transaction fee of $1.50 for ACH payments.
Depositing Money for an Inmate in Person
Money may be deposited in person into an inmate's account at the Jail Administration office. Types of payment that may be used in person are cash, debit card, and credit card. Bring a form of identification.
* Per Douglas County Policy Section 11(6B) An Inmate released from the Facility may NOT deposit funds to another inmate's account within ninety (90) days of release.

Depositing Money to an Inmate via Mail
Money orders are accepted by mail. In order for a money order to be payable to an inmate include inmate's name.
